Our surgical team, led by Dr. Lalit Yadav, performs procedures using both minimally invasive (keyhole) and open techniques. We provide detailed information on what to expect before, during, and after your procedure, ensuring you are fully prepared.
Hysteroscopy: This procedure is used to investigate or treat conditions affecting the endometrium (womb lining), including menstrual problems and fibroids. We offer both outpatient and inpatient services for women needing hysteroscopy.
Vaginal Repair: This repair corrects weaknesses in the supporting muscles of the vagina, such as those caused by prolapse.
Laparoscopy (Keyhole Surgery): This technique uses small incisions and thin instruments to operate, often leading to a shorter and easier recovery. Keyhole procedures we perform include:
Hysterectomy: Removal of the womb, which may also include the cervix, fallopian tubes, and ovaries.
Ovarian Cystectomy: Removal of ovarian cysts by our reproductive surgeons.
Hysteropexy: Corrects uterine prolapse in women who wish to avoid a hysterectomy, offering both mesh and meshless options.
Sacrocolpopexy: Lifts the top of the vagina in women with severe prolapse despite previous surgeries.
Laparoscopic Excision of Endometriosis: Removes endometriotic deposits. For complex cases, we may collaborate with bowel surgeons, urologists, and pain medicine specialists. Our expert hepatobiliary surgeons also manage diaphragmatic endometriosis and endometriosis in other sites, such as the liver or kidney.
Oophorectomy: Removal of one or both ovaries, which can help treat underlying diseases or be done preventively for women at high risk of breast or ovarian cancer.
Colposuspension: Typically performed to treat female stress urinary incontinence.
Myomectomy: Removal of fibroids.
Most of these surgeries can be performed using either keyhole or open techniques. We will discuss with you which approach will provide the best results and long-term outcomes.
